We are returning to some form of normal at Apple Valley as it becomes evident that the risk of conronavirus infection is low while being outside with people you know playing the game we love. Our driving range is open and our putting green is open. Range balls and baskets are being sanitized between uses. Flagsticks are to remain in the holes at all times with foam fillings keeping the ball high in the cup for easy retrieval. Per permission from our local health department, we are back to using two carts per foursome. If you don't want to ride with your cart partner, we suggest maybe one person drives while the other person walks. If you absolutely prefer to ride in a cart by yourself, that's also permitted but there is an additional fee. We don't have enough carts to give out one per person now that business has picked up without significant raises in the price of green fees - which we don't want to do. You know your guys better than we do so if anyone feels sick or is coming from a high-risk job or area, those guys should alert your group to any risks and possibly stay at home. Otherwise, we hope that everyone in your group feels totally safe around their friends.
Carts are sanitized after every use. We highly recommend that you call us at 740-397-7664 to make a tee time. Overall, the course is in fantastic shape and ready to help shake the coronavirus blues with sunshine, friends and good times playing golf.
Our clubhouse is open for inside seating beginning May 21 with tables spaced an appropriate distance apart to allign with social distancing protocols. Please continue to do your part to stay an acceptable distance from people, wash your hands, and be aware of any change in your general health that could possibly indicate an infection.
